Former Inter defender turned pundit, Daniele Adani, analyzed the Nerazzurri’s win over Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara from his usual slot on Italian TV channel Sky Sport Italia.
Adani was impressed how Inter behaved when Bologna tried to close down the Nerazzurri stating that: “Inter remained in the match and always tried to play, showing on the pitch the huge difference of quality compared to their opponents. When a match is this locked you have to approach it with intelligence and coolness, waiting for the right moment. Inter created chances even before the goals.”
Adani continued praising the Nerazzurri stating that: “The thing that I liked the most was how the team approached the match with lucidity and balance in the difficult times, followed by the skill of finding the right spaces at the right time. Spalletti was also good to make the changes that allowed Inter to close the game. The pitch was impractical, but the absence of Icardi allowed the Nerazzurri to have more players attacking the penalty area.”
