Keita Balde has assured Interisti that goals will come from him after missing from close range in Saturday evening’s 3-0 win over Bologna.
“Bologna defended very well but we knew that it would get easier after our first goal because our confidence grew and we just knew that we would have scored more goals. I could have scored in the second half but the most important thing is Inter and the victory of the team, my goals will come,” the Senegalese winger said in an interview with Sport Mediaset.
The 23-year-old, who made his first start in Saturday’s affair at Bologna’s Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, arrived at the San Siro on an initial season long loan from Ligue 1 side Monaco during the summer transfer window and the Nerazzurri have an option to turn the move in to a permanent one for a fee believed to be in the region of the €30 million mark.
