The coach of the Italian national team, Roberto Mancini, was interviewed by Sky Sport about his thoughts on Inter’s 3-0 win on Saturday at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara against Bologna.
The former Nerazzurri coach stated that: “It was a difficult match for Inter, the team experienced difficulties. They made a lot of changes and those who do that in the beginning do so because they struggle. The first matches are like this though for everyone, except Juventus that is.”
In conclusion the former Lazio and Inter coach underlined that despite these difficulties he believes that the Nerazzurri will have a good season stating that: “Napoli is also in a bit of trouble, although I believe that the Pertenopei, as well as Spalletti’s team, Milan and Roma will have a great Serie A season.”
Roberto Mancini coached Inter twice, the first between 2004-2008 where he led the Nerazzurri to three Serie A titles, the second time being between November 2014 and August 2016, where he led Inter to a top 4 finish.
