Corriere della Sera have taken a look at claims that with the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, it ultimately means Juventus have already won this year’s Scudetto despite the season still being in its infancy. The Milan based newspaper have drawn up a series of reasons why it can not be taken for granted.

“Firstly, there has been only three match days which thus prevents definitive pronouncements from every sensible person. Secondly, there are clubs out there, like Milan who have not even played all three games yet. Thirdly, going by the past, it shows that the games that precede the traditional international break in September are only a warm-up and afterwards clubs then start to get serious.”

Juve are of course already right up there at the top with maximum points and are alone in recording that feat. This has all been achieved despite Cristiano Ronaldo’s dry spell in front of goal. This then raises another question that of what will happen once he wakes up and starts scoring.
