Inter’s under 15 side are well on their way to replicating the recent success that various youth sides of Inter’s academy have achieved with them reaching the quarter-final stage of the 29th edition of the Gaetano Scirea Memorial competition.

“Paolo Annoni’s Under-15 side finished Group E with full points at the 29th Memorial Gaetano Scirea. The 2-1 win against Renati (Maffi and Curatolo goals) followed by the 4-2 win over Pro Sesto with goals from Savane, Clerici, Curatolo and Pelamatti (penalty) sent the Nerazzurri through to the quarter-finals of the competition. Parma will be the next opponent for Inter at 20:30 CEST on Friday.”

In recent weeks Inter’s under 16’s won the Evergrande Championship Cup in China while the under 17’s were winners of the first ever tournament played in memorial of former Inter scout Pierluigi Casiraghi. Both sides beat off Spanish opposition to be crowned champions with the under 16’s beating Atletico Madrid while the under 17’s saw of Atletico’s city rivals Real Madrid in their final.
