Here’s Why Karamoh’s Move To St Etienne On Loan From Inter Collapsed

As the transfer market winded down last week, Inter’s Yann Karamoh looked all set to join St Etienne in France but that move collapsed and Bordeaux swooped in and signed him on a season long loan.

French magazine ‘But! Football Club’ have explained that St Etienne were forced to lose out upon the French talent due to the fact they were unable to move Robert Beric on which would have freed the sufficient funds to cover Karamoh’s salary for the duration of the loan.

The 20-year-old is yet to make his debut for Bordeaux since his deadline day arrival and his only action so far this term is a four minute cameo appearance in the 1-0 defeat to Sassuolo for Inter on the opening weekend of Serie A.

Karamoh had initially knocked back several offers in a bid to build upon his 17 appearances last term but his lack of action early on the season presumably forced him to change his mind.
