D’Ambrosio Likely To Miss Inter’s Champions League Clash With Tottenham

It is looking mor eand more unlikely that Inter’s Italian full-bacl Danilo D’Ambrosio will start for the Nerazzurri tonight against Tottenham Rome-based Corriere dello Sport report in today’s paper edition of the newspaper.

According to the report D’Ambrosio who has been called up for tonight’s match will “be tested this morning and it cannot be excluded that Spalletti asks him to grit his teeth and fight through the pain in his right thigh. Lautaro Martinez and Sime Vrsaljko however have not been called up and the Inter medical staff hope to be able to recover at least one of the two for Saturday’s Serie A clash against Sampdoria against who Gagliardini, Dalbert and Joao Mario are also available.”

The Corriere also reports that Ivan Perisic will most likely play tonight but Keita Balde is being considered to replace him should the Croatian winger be unavailable tonight although that is highly unlikely and predict that Inter will start the match as follows tonight:

Inter (3-4-2-1): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Miranda; Candreva, Vecino, Brozovic, Asamoah; Nainggolan, Perisic; Icardi.
