Miranda Has Recovered While Vrsaljko Is Almost There

Good news has began to filter through from Inter’s Appiano Gentile training base in terms of the recoveries of injured players.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Brazilian central defender Miranda has recovered and will almost certainly be available for selection to manager Luciano Spalletti for Saturday’s encounter with Cagliari at the San Siro. With fixture congestion, Miranda could well come in in place of Stefan de Vrij or Milan Skriniar to allow them to rest ahead of another busy week.

Sime Vrsaljko is also nearing full recovery from his injury that he picked up during the international break earlier this month. The Croatian full back is unlikely to be fit for Saturday’s match but could well be included in the squad for the Champions League game away to PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday. Failing that, he should be involved in the squad at the very least for the game with SPAL the following weekend.
