Inter winger Matteo Politano has reflected on Tuesday night’s win over Fiorentina and Inter’s season overall thus far in an interview with Inter TV.

“It was important for us to give continuity to the previous two games even though we expected a difficult game because Fiorentina is doing well.

“We are proving to be a great team that never gives up until the end and we have to continue like this and we will take a lot of satisfaction from it. I am very happy with how it is going and how I have started, but there is a lot to improve on still.”

The Italian concluded the interview by looking ahead to Saturday’s match with Cagliari and speaking on the fans at San Siro.

“Cagliari will be difficult as they will sit back from us in their own half.

“The San Siro audience is helping us a lot and will continue to help us.”
