Ex-Inter president and owner Massimo Moratti spoke with journalists on the sidelines of an event part of Milano Calcio City and firstly spoke on Inter’s recent results.
“We are on the right track, continuity is always the main thing. We have worked well in the past three games and the team seems to have come out of a difficult period.”
Moratti, who served as president between 1995 and 2013, then spoke on the idea of Inter being the anti-Juventus and whether he thinks Luka Modric to Inter can still come to fruition.
“For the moment the anti-Juventus is Napoli, Inter started with this idea but then we have to keeping winning matches to be it.
“I do not know anything about what happened with Modric or what the prospects are therefore I can not say anything on the topic.”
He concluded the interview by talking down the idea of returning to the footballing world, similarly to how former Milan president and owner Silvio Berlusconi has at Monza.
“Inter was a beautiful and important thing in my life and sometimes there is a desire to have fun with something like that again. I was interested in Bari but that interest only last a few hours.”
