Luciano Spalletti has already decided on eight players who will line up for Inter’s match away to SPAL on Sunday evening, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
However the Nerazzurri’s head coach remains torn on which players should fill the final three spots in his starting XI at the Stadio Paolo Mazza.
The first question mark concerns Milan Skriniar’s partner in the centre of defence: Miranda is expected to get the nod ahead of Stefan De Vrij, but no decision has been made yet.
The second regards the right-hand side of attack, with Antonio Candreva currently thought to be an inch ahead of Matteo Politano.
And the third sees Ivan Perisic and Keita Balde fighting it out to start on the left wing, with the Croatian thought to be Spalletti’s preferred choice.
Inter’s most likely starting XI for the trip to Ferrara, according to the Milan-based publication, is as follows:
Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, Skriniar, Miranda, Asamoah; Vecino, Brozovic; Candreva, Nainggolan, Perisic; Icardi.
