Racing Club de Avellaneda president Vitor Blanco refuses to give up hope that Lautaro Martinez will return to the club.

“I hope that he does not find space at Inter so he can come back here,” Blanco admitted while being a guest on Racing Maníacos Radio.

Upon joining Inter in the summer, Racing were due one of Lautaro’s former clubs part of the fee however Blanco has confirmed that negotiations are still ongoing with them to determine just how much of the fee they are entitled to,

“The negotiations with Liniers de Bahía Blanca are still not over.”

As much as Blanco would like to see Lautaro not play, it does not look like he will be granted his wish. Lautaro has made four appearances so far this season across all competitions for Inter and opened his goal scoring account with the club in the 2-1 win over Bologna two weeks ago.
