Borja Valero has not let the defeat to Barcelona get him down and has targeted progression to the knockout stage of the Champions League.

“We have to face the next three games with great desire as to get past the group stage would be wonderful,” the Spaniard said in a brief interview with broadcaster Sport Mediaset after the game.

At the half way point of the group stage, Inter have six points from nine and find themselves in second place. The Nerazzurri are three off top spot, which is held by Barcelona and are five clear of third and fourth placed Tottenham Hotspur and PSV Eindhoven.
