The first training session after the Champions League group stage clash against Barcelona was held this morning by Luciano Spalletti for his men, who remained on the field for about an hour to recover from the effects after the game at the Camp Nou.

All Inter players were present at Pinetina, except Ivan Perisic who did not return to Italy with the team because of a delay in the completion of anti-doping procedures according to Sky Sport Italia who reports further that the Croatian winger only arrived in Milano late this morning.

Inter were beaten 2-0 last night by Barcelona at the Camp Nou but with Tottenham and PSV drawing in the other group game, it still leaves Inter in a good position to qualify from the group as they are five points clear of both Tottenham and PSV in second place behind Barcelona who are now expected to go on and win the group.

Barcelona visit San Siro in the next game before Inter travel to London for the return fixture against Tottenham and finally against PSV at the San Siro.
