Ivan Perisic was Inter best performer in the 2-0 defeat to Barcelona last night in the Champions League in the eyes of Mundo Deportivo.
“The Croatian was the most incisive of Inter’s team as he had lots of energy. He put a great ball to Mauro Icardi in the first few minutes and gave Sergi Roberto some trouble before being substituted,” the Spanish newspaper raved about his performance.
Despite being slaughtered in the Italian media for a below par performance, Mundo Deportivo instead believe Inter central defender Milan Skriniar showed himself well at Camp Nou, where it is alleged there is interest in his services from.
The paper then went on to accuse Inter manager Luciano Spalletti by claiming that he lost the desire to win due to Barcelona not having Lionel Messi.
