Milan director Leonardo looked back at Mauro Icardi’s late Milan derby winner last weekend and urged the Rossoneri to continue and not forget what they have already done this campaign.
“Conceding a goal in injury time and then losing it hurts. It is normal that we are left with a bitter taste in our mouths but we must continue, we must not forget where we started,” Leonardo, who also had a short stint as manager of Inter, said in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.
“It has been an abnormal season for us. We have 12 points with a game in hand and are potentially only three points from the Champions League.”
