With Erick Thohir exiting the club, Steven Zhang taking over as president, the budget confirmed and six new contract renewals signed yesterday, it is fair to say that there is a revolution going on at Inter and this revolution is set to continue as per a report from Tuttosport.
Inter are in talks with Andrea Ranocchia, Mauro Icardi and Milan Skriniar about extending their respective stays with the club.
Away from the playing side, Giuseppe Marotta would appear set to join the Inter board of directors. All the signs currently point toward the former Juventus chief executive linking up with the Nerazzurri. With Inter already having a CEO in place, the Turin newspaper suggest that he and Alessandro Antonello could share the role and alongside sporting director Piero Ausilio and CFO Giovanni Gardini will look to end Juventus’ domestic dominance of the past seven years.
The report ends, “the revolution, given these premises, is only at the beginning.”
