Several members of Racing Club’s board of directors have hit out at the confusion surrounding the exact fee that the club received from Inter for Lautaro Martinez.
The board attempted to pass the budgets but saw several objections due to the varying figures being branded about. One such person to take a stand was Luis Gullermon, who explained why he rejected the budget.
“The numbers of Lautaro’s sale are not clear. The explanations of the Board of Directors are complicated like an Egyptian hieroglyph, Racing sells players to make millions and does not win titles or improve the club infrastructure.”
Former player Hugo Lamadrid also rejected the budget and gave his reasoning behind doing so.
“It is not clear to us if 21, 15 or 14 million was earned for Lautaro.”
The general consensus from the objectors was that they are unhappy to have been kept in the dark about the move that was completed back in March.
