Wanda Nara: “Mauro Wants To Stay At Inter”

Wanda Nara, the agent and wife of Inter club captain Mauro Icardi, has affirmed his commitment to the Nerazzurri cause.

“He still has a three year contract, he is very happy here and has a very important role at Inter. He is the captain and wants to stay here. For me, at the moment, he is the best number 9 in the world,” she said in an interview with broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Nara, who has two kids with the Argentine goalscorer, then spoke on the family.

“He only wanted Francesca, then I convinced him and Isabella arrived. He never wanted a son because he thought that the surname Icardi could create problems for him in the sense there would be too many expectations of him. He always told me he wanted a girl but now he has said enough children. He wants to enjoy his little girls, he cares a lot and has a patience with them that I do not have.”

Nara then discussed the situation with ex-husband Maxi Lopez.

“The relationships is good, now he is playing in Brazil, he is physically far from the children but he always calls the boys. I do not know if I could stay away from my children but in this job he has no other choice. When one separates, the relationship is not always beautiful. We both try the best for the children, which is the only thing that interests us.
