Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia has taken to social media to send a message of congratulations to newly appointed Inter president Steven Zhang.

“Congratulations,” the Italian centre back posted to his official Twitter profile as a caption to an image of himself and Zhang embracing prior to Inter’s Champions League match away to Barcelona on Wednesday night.

Zhang was appointed as club president at Inter’s shareholders meeting on Friday replacing the outgoing Erick Thohir.
