A report from Brazil details that Brazilian giants Flamengo are interested in signings Inter’s Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa and that a swap deal could take place with Inter involving Lincoln.

Gabriel Reis, a journalist close to the goings on at the Rio de Janeiro based club, has revealed that Gabigol’s form recovery while on loan at Santos this year has lead to the spotlight being shone back upon him and Flamengo are among those keen on signing him.

The Rubro-Negro could offer the Nerazzurri up and coming wonder kid Lincoln on loan for 18 months with a redemption obligation attached and would ask for Inter flop Gabigol on a permanent basis in return.

Negotiations are yet to take place between the two clubs the report emphasises but it does in fact indicate that they could come to life after the presidential elections at the Maracana playing club take place in early December.
