Bonolis: “Inter Should Aim For A Champions League Spot”

The Italian sports personality and TV host Paolo Bonolis, a lifelong Nerazzurro, spoke about the Scudetto race on Italian radio station Radiosei.

When asked who he thinks will win the Scudetto to which he replied: “The Serie A has a team which is the undisputed dominator: Juventus. Inter are trying to confirm their place in the top four to return to next seasons Champions League. Against Lazio, we saw confirmation of the teams potential.”

Bonolis was asked about the 3-0 result obtained at the Stadio Olimpico by Luciano Spalletti’s men against Lazio, an impressive result against a strong opponent: “It was an important game for the players confidence. Lazio had some important players missing as well, in particular Lucas Leiva whose absence meant that Brozovic could do whatever he wanted in the middle of the park. For Inzaghi, it was a very difficult match for him to manage. Inter were able to exploit Lazio’s weaknesses.”

Inter put in one of their best performances of the season against the Aquile, and will hoping for the same this weekend as they welcome Genoa to the San Siro.
