Inter & Skriniar’s Representatives Still In Talks Over New Contract

Inter and the representatives of Milan Skriniar have slightly bridged the gap between contract demands today according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

The parties are working toward a new and improved contract that would run until 2023 and while there is still some distance, a more decisive meeting could be set to take place in the coming week. As per the report, Skriniar and his people are looking for €3 million per season but Inter have not met that demand with their offers so far.

The Slovak defender is currently under contract until the end of the 2021/22 season and has proved a crucial part of Luciano Spalletti’s Inter side since his arrival in the summer of 2017.

Skriniar has been and is allegedly still subject to strong interest from clubs across Europe and Inter could perhaps even insert a release clause in his contract in excess of €100 million to try and deter interested clubs.
