Costacurta: “Inter’s Result Against Barcelona Is Positive”

Former Milan and Italian international defender Alessandro Costacurta commented on Inter’s performance in their 1-1 draw with Barcelona earlier this week in an interview with Sky Sport.

“The Nerazzurri have not played well from a technical point of view as they suffered at the hands of a superior team, but I have seen a lot of competitive nastiness from them. I know that when playing against Barça you often lose lucidity and this is what happened with Inter. It is very difficult to play against the Blaugrana, so I consider this draw very positive for Inter.”
