Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa’s loan spell with Santos is coming to an end and he could be set for another loan move in the January transfer window once it is up a report from Brazilian news outlet Fox Sports details.

The 22-year-old striker has attracted the interest of a whole host of clubs and as per the report, Flamengo could be set to make a loan offer for him and could send starlet Lincoln to the Nerazzurri as part of the deal.

Since making the return to Brazil on a temporary basis back in January, Gabigol has managed to find his form once more and scored 16 goals in 31 league outings for the Peixe.

Santos have shown an interest in extending the loan or purchasing him outright but both the club and Gabigol have been open about the difficulties of doing so. Palmeiras, Cruzeiro and Sao Paulo have all also been mentioned in connection with the 2016 Olympic Gold medallist.
