Milan Skriniar has revealed that fitting in time to discuss a new contract has not been easy due to the intense schedule Inter have had lately.

“We have been playing every three days, so there has not really been time to discuss the new contract. We will talk more when everything calms down a bit, there is nothing to worry about,” the Slovak defender told Sport Mediaset.

Inter manager Luciano Spalletti suggested during a recent press conference that Skriniar was worth €140 million but Skriniar said it is not something that he thinks about.

“I do not know if he was joking or not! As I have said before, I do not think about my price-tag. I just focus on my work and doing the best I possibly can. I love it when I do something good and the San Siro crowd applauds, as it really moves me.”

He concluded the interview by speaking on the relationship he has with Stefan de Vrij.

“From his first day at pre-season training, we shared a room. He has also did very well when playing alongside Miranda.”
