Inter legend Sandro Mazzola has spoken on Inter’s chances in the Champions League and praised Inter manager Luciano Spalletti for the work he has carried out.”

“I feel like Inter can be a real outsider in the Champions League. They have almost made it in to the next round and above all I see that the coach has given temperament to the group. It is true that maybe with some teams there may still be a gap to fill but if you have temperament, quality and desire you can still achieve great results. I see a manager who knows how to convince them of their chances, since the beginning of the season there has been a good mental growth,” Mazzola said in an interview with Tutto Mercato Web.

He also spoke on Jose Mourinho’s gesture in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Juventus last night.

“I met him and he is a very particular guy and when he has to do something he is not thinking, he is like that, but he is a great man. Maybe it was better if he did not do it though.”
