Joachim Andersen’s fine form this season has been rewarded with a new contract through to the end of the 2021/22 season by Sampdoria.

The Danish centre back has caught the attention of several clubs including Inter and it remains to be seen whether or not this new contract will deter the interest in him.

Andersen has made 11 appearances this season across all competitions for the Genoese club and scored one goal in the process.
