Gazzetta dello Sport have commended Lautaro Martinez for the way in which he has carried himself and behaved since arriving at Inter and faced the lack of playing time he has had.

The 20-year-old striker is always punctual and eager and available at every training session. While it is clear that things are not going as he and many others perhaps expected, his fierce celebrations after his goals and lack of enthusiasm when it comes to being substituted off are clear signs of his desire to play a little more.

The report goes on to stress that Inter are still betting on him and that they have knocked back several offers to take him away even at this early stage of his career in Nerazzurri.

Lautaro’s behaviour is in stark contrast to that of his father’s. His father has spoken out many a time about his son’s lack of playing time while Lautaro has instead kept his head down.
