This year, for the first time ever, there will be Serie A fixtures played on boxing day. The Christmas festivities do not look like they will disrupt the attendance whatsoever with Inter confirming some 56,000 tickets have already been sold for their match against Napoli.

Several festive events are to take place both inside and outside of the ground. BWIN, Inter’s official betting partners, have organised a range of surprises for those in attendance inside the ground while there will be many Christmas themed events taking place in the Inter village outside the ground. In addition to all of this, there will also be a Christmas display put on by the fans.

Inter versus Napoli is scheduled to kick off at 20:30 and will be both sides penultimate game before the Serie A breaks off for it’s traditional winter break. After Napoli, Inter will travel to Empoli on the 29th with the two week break commencing the day thereafter.
