Renowned journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio commented on Gisueppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta’s recent arrival at Inter in the capacity of chief executive.

“Marotta will change the style of Inter very much. I know him well and he is a very serious person,” Di Marzio told RMC Sport.

He also spoke on the current situation concerning Mauro Icardi and a new contract with the Nerazzurri.

“Icardi should stay, Marotta will try to mend all problems.”

He concluded with a comment on Icardi’s agent and wife Wanda Nara who has dropped a series of bombshells in the past few days.

“She will always be the same.”

Recent reports have suggested Inter and Icardi have a mutual will to prolong their relationship together at least until 2023 but there is a difference of a few million between the offer Inter have tabled the Argentine and what the 25-year-old is wanting in return.
