Based on their own player performance algorithm, the CIES football observatory have named the best team made up of Serie A players as the season approaches the mid-way point.

Among the team that is made up of players from Juventus, Napoli and Inter is Nerazzurri duo goalkeeper Samir Handanovic and central defender Stefan de Vrij.
