Milan president Paolo Scaroni shared the latest developments in talks between themselves and Inter with regard to what they wish to do with the stadium.
“I am representing the owners, who invested a great deal of money, and dealing with important elements like the new Milan stadium,” Scaroni said to gathered reporters at the Rossoneri’s Christmas party for their youth teams tonight.
He concluded by revealing what the two clubs are thinking about doing at the present moment.
“We are thinking of building a new stadium along with Inter.”
The two Milanese clubs signed a ‘memorandum of understanding’ together in November with regard to working together on the stadium whether that be to both remain at San Siro and renovate it to make it a more modern structure or move away from the historic ground and build a new modern stadium from scratch. Further talks are expected in due course.
