Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti treated staff members in Inter’s academy setup to dinner at his restaurant Botinero to celebrate their achievements over the past calendar year.

“I want to thank you for all the work you do every day for the Club in exporting our values around the world with hard work and sacrifice. The Club will do everything and more to allow you to keep working at your best. We hope that 2019 will be another magnificent year for you all and for Inter Academy which is a vital project for our Club,” Zanetti is quoted as saying as a toast to those in attendance.

Inter’s Academy has had a wildly successful year with no less than six trophies being won. Inter’s Primavera side won both the Primavera League title and the prestigious Viareggio Tournament. The under 15’s won their respective league title and supercup. Inter’s under 17 and under 15 women’s sides also tasted success as they both won the league titles.
