La Repubblica have dedicated an article to the top Italian talents and among those they have taken a look at is Inter youngster Alessandro Bastoni, who is currently on loan with Parma.

“He already has the look of the champion and is inspired by his father’s Nerazzurri faith. Parma is raising him to allow him, one day, who knows, to realise the dream of playing for Inter,” the report reads.

The 19-year-old centre back, who is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season, is regarded as one of the best defensive prospects in Italy at the moment and has given a good account of himself while on loan with the Ducali this season where he has made 10 appearances across all competitions for a total of 756 minutes.

Bastoni joined Inter from Atalanta in the summer of 2017 but was immediately loaned back to the Bergamo club for the remainder of that season.
