Udinese are expecting a bid from Inter for attacker Rodrigo de Paul during the summer transfer window according to a report from Milan based news outlet Corriere della Sera.

The Argentine attacker has recently drawn interest from Inter’s city rivals Milan who are on the lookout for a new attacker but Udinese have no intention of depriving themselves of his talents during the ongoing January transfer window.

de Paul has been with Udinese since 2016 and is under contract with the Bianconeri through to the end of the 2022/23 season.

The 24-year-old’s versatility is understood to be one of the main reasons behind Inter’s interest in his services with him capable of playing on either wing, as an attacking midfielder, as a second striker and as a striker.

This season, de Paul, who is a four-time Argentine international, has made 19 appearances across all competitions for a total of 1726 minutes, scoring six goals and tallying three assists in the process.
