After complete silence on the matter, Inter club captain Mauro Icardi has broken his silence and taken to social media to discuss the recent media reports concerning a contract renewal for him at Inter.
The 25-year-old has lashed out at a report from Gazzetta dello Sport that states, “the club asks the captain to be able to negotiate with another representative.”
“Where do these quotes come from? But how is it possible that a newspaper like Gazzetta publishes this bullshit,” he said in a video posted to his Twitter account.
In a follow-up tweet, Icardi then affirmed his commitment to agent Wanda Nara who has come under fire as of late for her behaviour.
“Moreover I would like to be precise and explain that I am very, yes very happy and satisfied with the job that we have done together until now. Because of this, Wanda Icardi will always take care of mine and our interests until the end of my career.
