Juventus will once again meet with Genoa to discuss Cristian Romero with a view to closing the deal according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Bianconeri could however face late pressure to finalise a deal though with the Milan based newspaper suggesting that Inter have moved in the past few hours for the Argentine defender.

The 20-year-old defender is a new recruit at Genoa this season and has certainly impressed. He has drawn a lot of media attention in his 11 appearances for the Grifone, where he a contract through to the end of the 2022/23 season.

With suggestions that Miranda is looking for a move away from Inter, it could be the case that Inter are making a move for Romero with a view to making him the Brazilian’s replacement at San Siro. Flamengo are understood to be keen on Miranda but their reported offer falls short of Inter’s demands.
