Inter’s Intentions For de Paul Revealed

Inter management have made contact with their opposite numbers at Udinese in order to initiate negotiations over a deal for Bianconeri attacker Rodrigo de Paul according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Inter’s chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta directly spoke with Udinese president Gino Pozzo yesterday evening. Marotta also spoke with an intermediary.

The Nerazzurri intend to get a deal in place during the ongoing January transfer window that would see the 24-year-old link up with the club at the end of the season.

Believed to be valued by Udinese at €25 million, Inter are not willing to pay this sum and will look to appease the Udine based club with an offer of €15 million instead. The offer will also include some counterparts, most likely one or two players from Inter’s Primavera side.

The report goes on to state that updates on the situation are expected to arrive in the coming days.
