Inter captain Mauro Icardi continued making his position clear via his official Instagram account, this time regarding the ongoing negotiations or lack thereof, concerning a new contract with the Nerazzurri.

The Argentinian international striker posted the following message on his Instagram stories: “I want to clarify things to all the fans who read pseudo journalists and “serious” newspapers, who write without knowing or who give instructions to write things without having a real idea of the facts, that my [contract] renewal will arrive when Inter submit a correct and concrete offer to me. Only then can we talk of the renewal with any truth and elude the gratuitous lies that are being spread around today.”

This message followed a previous tirade where the former Sampdoria striker defended the actions of his wife and agent in representing him declaring that he was very happy with her job and that she would remain his agent for the entire duration of his career.
