AS Roma Sporting Director Monchi considers Inter’s Brazilian international central defender as too expensive Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport report.
According to the report, the Giallorossi are still on the look out for a new central defender although a lot depends on the situation regarding former Inter defender Juan Jesus. The Brazilian central defender injured the meniscus in his knee in the Coppa Italia game and it remains to be seen how long he will be sidelined.
Galatasaray’s Ozan Kabak, who has also been linked to Inter, can be written off for both teams as he is on the verge of signing for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga for a reported fee of €13 million according to the Gazzetta.
Therefore, this leaves Joao Miranda, but the Roma Sporting Director sees the player’s wages as a stumbling block and unless he is willing to lower them a deal is very improbable, the Gazzetta concludes.
