Inter are seeking a discount for the redemption of loan star Keita Balde according to a report from FCInterNews.it, who state that Inter have recently met with his agent Roberto Calenda to discuss the redemption situation.

As per the report, Inter revealed to Calenda that they are very happy with Keita Balde’s performances since his arrival from Monaco in the Summer transfer window.

They set out their intentions to activate the redemption option for him but are looking to get a reduction on the €34 million fee that they agreed with the Ligue 1 outfit.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio will now try and work out a formula to get a reduction and will hold further talks with Calenda next month.

The 23-year-old winger has made 21 appearances across all competitions for La Beneamata this term and has contributed four goals and tallied three assists in the process.
