Inter Eyeing Bergwijn As Possible Perisic Successor

With Ivan Perisic quite possibly in his final few months at Inter, the Nerazzurri are on the lookout for his replacement and have identified Steven Bergwijn as a possible replacement according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Inter have had scouts closely watching the young Dutchman, who is currently on the books of Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven. The report adds that Inter are to continue to monitor him and will continue to have scouts watching him.

The 21-year-old is capable of playing on either wing and is understood to be valued by PSV at €25 million. Inter are not alone in courting him though as he has also drawn interest from Inter’s city rivals Milan among many other sides.

Inter have also taken an interest in Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul. The Bianconeri are said to value the Argentine attacker at at least €30 million, a sum which means he is not at the top of Inter’s shortlist.
