As part of an interview with Frosinone’s official club website, Andrea Pinamonti – who is on loan from Inter – shared what is was like growing up in Inter’s ranks.
“In Milan I had everything around me from training camps to schools and plenty leisure activities. At Inter they allowed me to do a lot of things.
“I spent four years in a boarding school, then the last two years when I went to the first team things began to change. It was the most difficult year for me because I had to leave the boarding school and went to live alone in an apartment. I had to start doing everything on my own even though my family were never far away and my parents could just come to see me whenever.”
He then went on to proclaim his love for Inter; “I have always been a fan of Inter, there are three to four generations of Inter fans in my family.”
Next he spoke on his football idols.
“I have always adored Zlatan Ibrahimovic since I was very small. I have been training with Mauro Icardi for the last two years and I have to say that he is a very good guy and his football skills are undeniable.”
He concluded the interview by speaking on the most difficult opponent he has faced and his favourite goal of his career so far.
“My toughest opponent? Milan Skriniar, I know him, like Icardi, very well. The opponent who has impressed me most is Cristiano Ronaldo.
“My favourite goal? My goal against Fiorentina both for its beauty and its importance.”
