Borja Valero has commented on the contract renewal situation of Inter teammate Mauro Icardi and described how he sees the Argentine.

“I see him as both calm and normal. He is training well, he is a cool guy and I see him doing well both in training and in life in general,” the Spaniard said in an interview with SportMediaset.

The veteran midfielder was then asked about the ability of Icardi’s wife/agent Wanda Icardi.

“Does Wanda do a good job as his agent? I do not know, I know her only as a friend and as the wife of Mauro. I do not know if she is a good agent or not but I hope for Mauro’s sake she is.”

The much publicised ongoing negotiations between Inter and Wanda over a new deal for the 25-year-old seem to be progressing and with a shared will to find an agreement it can’t be too long until one is found with many reports stating more meetings are planned.
