Moments before kick-off against Lazio in the quarterfinal of the Coppa Italia at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, Inter coach Luciano Spalletti was forced to make a change to the original starting lineup he had announced.

According to several reports, the former Fiorentina man could not start due to an injury to his right knee sustained during the warm-up. Portuguese international midfielder Joao Mario replaced Borja Valero in the line up.
