Roberto Gagliardini will be one of a number of player’s making a return to the Inter starting line-up for this afternoon’s match at home to SPAL according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian midfielder will be one of no less than six changes that Inter boss Luciano Spalletti will make to the side that started in Thursday night’s Europa League round of 16 first leg clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Kwadwo Asamoah, Milan Skriniar and Danilo D’Ambrosio will all be rested in view of the second leg and will drop to the bench for the match with Dalbert, Miranda and Cedric Soares to come in and replace them in the defence.
In midfield, Gagliardini is coming in for the suspended Matias Vecino while Joao Mario is to replace Borja Valero and Antonio Candreva will replace Ivan Perisic on the left wing.
Inter predicted line-up (4-3-3): Samir Handanovic; Cedric, Stefan de Vrij, Miranda, Dalbert; Roberto Gagliardini, Marcelo Brozovic, Joao Mario; Matteo Politano, Lautaro Martinez, Antonio Candreva.
