Matteo Politano has shared his thoughts and feelings on Inter’s 2-0 victory in which he scored the opening goal.

“It was a very difficult match, we knew that they were good at defending and on the counterattack,” he explained to Inter TV post-match.

“It was important that we were able to break the stalemate. Today it was crucial for us to win because in the next week we will play two games that could prove decisive for our season.”

He continued by sharing his delight at scoring and discussing his condition.

“I am very happy for the goal and I must continue on this path. It is never easy to play every two days but now wi’ll have to recover but overall I feel good physically.”

He concluded the interview by discussing changing systems during the game and praising the fans for their support today and in every game.

“We try these systems in training and we were good at implementing it. We want to put a show on every Sunday that we play at San Siro. Our fans are always there for us and give us a big hand.
