Report Claims There Will Be A ‘Clean Sweep’ At Inter In The Summer

Corriere della Sera believe that there will be a ‘clean sweep with everyone’ at Inter come the Summer given the recent controversy at the club.

Starting with Mauro Icardi, Paolo Nicoletti, the lawyer who has acted as mediator between the player and club accused the club of not respecting the agreement he reached with Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta when Icardi was not called up for tonight’s match.

“The management rejects the accusation and insists that the agreement was to bring the former captain back into the group and not give him back a job as a starter,” the report reads.

“At the end of the season Icardi will be sold and the striker hopes both Perisic and Spalletti will pack their bags too.”

The Milan based newspaper then went on to examine Inter manager Luciano Spalletti’s pre-match press conference comments yesterday.

Spalletti told reporters ‘see you next year,’ and CorSera add: “The chances that he remains, despite the contract, are not high. Inter have other plans. The management for now are in solidarity with the coach, but the idea is to make a clean sweep with everyone in June.”
