Wanda Nara, the wife, and agent, of Inter striker Mauro Icardi has shared her thoughts on the latest instalment of the soap opera between him and the club as she appeared in her usual slot as a panellist on Sport Mediaset television show Tiki Taka.

“It all depends on the coach. On the inside the situation is different. Mauro didn’t talk. He just expects to play,” she began.

“Tonight he had a camera pointed at him and you could see how he kept pushing the team on all the time, like he has done at other times.

“He is very fond of his teammates and he should not have to say this publicly as shown in recent days by being at Gagliardini’s wife’s surprise party.”

She concluded by revealing what the 26-year-old has been thinking about during the events of the past weeks.

“A man like Mauro is used to hearing many things about him but he does not think about the controversy, he thinks only about scoring and helping Inter.”
